Dawn graduated BDS (Otago) in 1999. After practicing for 6 years, she returned to Dunedin - graduating MDS in Periodontology in 2005. She has since worked in various specialist periodontal practices, and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Periodontology and past Treasurer of the New Zealand Society of Periodontology.
She is a busy mum, and in her limited spare time enjoys baking, watching movies or lounging in the sun with a good book.
